Esamir, the snowy arctic hell we get to fight over, is live, and with it comes a lot of great new features to the game, such as empire population locks and being able to get rezzed in nanoweave armor (all the details are at http://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/update-notes-10-06-2012.27227/#post-363670).

Esamir is very different than Indar in the sense that there's few bases with much larger hexes. There'll be a lot less circle jerking and back capping here, and more large fights.
