Reviving those dead multiplayer mods we all own...for a short but golden moment of return.

Let's face it: we all have those mods in our library. Old gems with amazing multiplayer or co-op modes that seriously deserve some love and loyal players, but have sadly become dead, deserted, and forgotten. Those mods vainly wait for better times to come.

Those better times are finally here. The Dead MP Mods Resurrection Group is a group of Steam players dedicated to reviving our dead multiplayer mods if even for one night. Events will be created by group members for any dead multiplayer mod that we support! Let's get some of these mods active again!

This is a completely free-to-join group; all players are welcome and so are many mods with dead multiplayer modes. All members can join resurrection events, so please use this group to bring your mods alive again! Please feel free to ask the admins for assistance whenever needed!

Hello everyone.

During Old School FPS Month, this group has declined and have been in an inactive state. My plans for April are to not only bring this group into an active state, but make it into a fun one.

Make the group active again.
Make PSAs about suggesting mods to us and inviting friends
Feature more dead mods.
Encourage the Dead MP Games group to join the Mods group as well.

Any questions, comments, or concerns should be posted here. Otherwise, have a great spring break!

Winny and I have been discussing this since yesterday (or Friday) and we since we have so many old school games, how about we do a month dedicated to old school FPS arena shooters? And yes, I have it all planned out for you. Without further ado, let’s begin.

Synergy requires Half-Life 2 as a base, obviously. But if you are planning to do things such as episode 1 and 2, then people can't play because possibly the majority of them don't have it. It's both a technical issue and a money issue because people have to buy both ep1 and 2 to play... :\
