7th Adnan Infantry Division

The Iraqi Republican Guard is a branch of the Iraqi military, which later became the Republican Guard Corps and then the Republican Guard Forces Command. Formed in 1980, it was originally created to be Saddam Hussein's bodyguard but was expanded into a large military force. Members were (mainly but not exclusively) highly motivated volunteers rather than conscripts. They received bonuses, new cars and subsidized housing, and received greater training than the regular army.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. You must be 13 years of age or older. 12 year olds and under tend to not take units seriously.

2. Have Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat or Counter Strike: Source (preferably both) installed on your computer. You can find Insurgency by searching for Insurgency in the Steam Store search tab.

3. You can't be naziist, ultra-fascist, anti-communist, anti-capitalist, or otherwise extreme-rightist.

4. You must not disrespect the other members of the unit (especially high ranking), pubbers, and anyone you meet while in the unit (unless the unit leader(s) are disrespecting them as well).

5. You have to be willing to join a game of Insurgency or CSS at least 4 days out of the week. There is also a training program to familiarize you with Insurgency weapons and tactics.

There is a training system in this unit that I will ask you to be a part of at random times while you are online. The programs will include: Rifle Training, Pistol Training, Explosives Familiarization, Marksman Training (mainly used to improve your Rifle use), CQB Training, Long Range Engagement Training, and combat maneuvers. We will eventually expand to Project Reality and BF2 once we get enough members who have it.
