Hello all! I am the CEO of Rawhide Gaming, which as you read from the title, we are a ArmA 2/3 milsim group. We represent the 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, and MAG-40.

We run an ALiVE sever meaning everything is persistant and our enemy is very smart! It also leads to some of the greatest firefights! Well at least the best I've had in ArmA. Anywhere from being ambused to having hour long defences of cities, or just running into a platoon sized element in a field. It's always something different!

All of our members have the greatest respect for the Marine Corps and they will deliver the Marine Corps values as best they can in a game. The 1/8th Marines are our ground pounders and are broken into 3 squads comprised of 3 specialized fireteams. MAG-40, or Marine Air Group 40, is the air unit, they have access to everything from the UH-1Y Venom to the F/A-18 Super Hornets.
Many people see the milsim and get a little turned off, I understand that it's not for everyone but that's not all we do. As a community and not just a group we spend a lot of time hanging out playing other games, but at our core is the Milsim and many of our members are invested in it. If milsim isn't your thing though, just jump on and hangout for a while!
