Good Evening and welcome to QI, where tonight...

Due to the fact that the only other group dedicated to this show appears to have died out, I figured, why not start another?

How It Works

We will show a new question every week. You will have one week to give an answer. All answers are appreciated. The scoring is explained in a pinned discussion. One week later, or upon the reaching of the correct answer, we will give you the explaination to the previous question, and tally any scoring that ocurred. Then we will release the next question.

It was the English Armada. The the Spanish attacked England with their large fleet in 1588.They met with defeat, but not at the hands of the british so much as the weather. They retreated back to Spain, but Sir Francis Drake convinced the queen to attack the Spanish a year afterwards. The British were destroyed, losing 40 Ships.
