It depends on how it's attached, most real weapons that have threads for attachments are internal, and if they don't have threads, you'll need an aftermarket adapter for the ability to attach a suppressor to a weapon.
That said, this is also a can. It doesn't have threads. However, it could have something on the gun "side" to make it fit on the gun appropriately. As for the actual functionality, filled with foam. Not the most effective method of suppression, but it works and people DO use that (illegal, but we're talking about criminals here, so that doesn't really matter.)
