Dear Explorers Post 725 members,

Summer has passed, and I hope that everyone has had a fun time enjoying the cool weather. Now that the school year has begun, we are ready to have our next year of classes begin!

We will be returning to ITT Tech this fall on Saturday, September 27th from 9am to 11am. This will be the first night session, which will give everyone returning a chance to voice your opinions about the class and be there for the new students who are looking to attend. If you have any friends who would like to attend the class, bring them along so they can see how much fun we have.

Everyone who paid his / her dues last year are still enrolled in the program until the end of the 2014 calendar year. Registration will need to be done again at the end of the year for returning members, or you can re-register at the first night session as well.

We will be altering our course schedule this year. Jeff Walker and I have agreed to begin the year with web design using Brackets IO portable to start the class. We finished our last year with this program, and now we will dig deep into HTML5 web design. Of course we will still have our Mario Builder class and Small Basic, but we are open to changing the programming curriculum if desired.

* This is where your input as returning students pays off, as returning students have the experience from the past year to modify the curriculum and teach the curriculum too! *

Don't miss out on our new 2014 - 2015 class schedule! Bring your 3DS / 2DS units as well, as you can always discuss games and get streetpass tags as well.

This is just the beginning of our next year's list. What would you like to investigate? What would you like to teach to the class? Come share your ideas at our first night!
