We Love Hl2 and Portal

Hey, have you played through portal and loved it heaps

have you enjoyed going through all of those portals and loved doing wondeful tricks

have you played through HL2 and wanted to do the same tricks you could do in portal?


Have you Wanted to just have a portal gun in HL2 and go into those areas the combine wouldnt let you go into.


Well my friends, your wishes can come true, because if you join this group, you can learn how to shoot portals in HL2.



Thats right, you heard me, in this group be prepeard to learn how to get the portalgun in HL2, or in any other source game.



and join this group to support the portalgun in HL2 and to teach new comers how to do it.



How To get the Portalgun in HL2:

1. First you need to download GCFscape at

http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=26

2. after its fineshed install it.


3. now open it up and press open folder

4. locate "Half life 2 content"

5. open it up and also open the folder named hl2

6.open up the maps folder

7. Now, Highlight all the maps and right click then press extract

8. extract it to your portal maps folder which is located at

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\portal\portal\maps

9. Now wait for it to finesh extracting

10. when its done load up portal

11. open up the console and type in any hl2 map name like "d1_trainstation_01"

12. Have fun with the portal gun in HL2

Note: None of the triggers, scripts or sounds were extracted so there will be barley any AI and its pretty buggy cause the hl2 maps werent made for a portalgun to be used it them.



You can also do this with any other source game maps like Gmod, Css etc...
