Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. As a sequel to the hero shooter Overwatch, the game retains the familiar PvP gaming atmosphere and adds permanent co-op modes. The main change in PvP mode was the reduction in team size from six to five people, which required several characters to be reworked. The game was released in Early Access on October 4, 2022 for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
