Hello! We are the OpenRailers. We like to play Open Rails but sometimes we play OpenTTD as well.

Le Ruels!

1. No Hateful, Racist, Sexual or Inappropriate langauge in the chats.

2. If you are racing with someone during a session, Please alert the other members in the session to clear the tracks,

3. If you are planning to overrun a red signal, Please tell the dispatcher or, if there isnt one, check and see if the line ahead is completly clear using dispatch viewer

4.Use Content with Appropriate Couplings for the country that it's in.

5. If you are speeding, you may not go over 10MPH over the Speed limit. unless you are racing or your train is a runaway.

Who Really are we?

Well, We have 3 Admins currently,
Bendragon80137, Who is our Manager and Chief of Engineering, He will help you with installing content,

Pat Pingu Post: General Session Orgoniser and Owner
He will Orgonise sessions and alert others of when a session when occur,

Mak47: Helper and Manager
Mak Will help with random jobs around the group

We also have Howler the Wolf Who is one of bens assistants, and Dyllie 1204 Who does Skinning for the group

Hey there.

I've been hard at work on Open Rails content and I feel that I'm ready to start hosting servers between 11AM and 11PM GMT +0, if you desire me to host servers at any point please contact either Patman Post or myself if you have me within my friends list.

Also, the group is looking for an individual to help improve the maps that we play on, if anyone would like to Volunteer, please contact Patman Post or myself.

If people are having trouble registering on the Elvastower forums[www.elvastower.com] (the only place where official support for the game and certain tools are provided), they're welcome to use my account.

Keep in mind you will need to be an individual invovled with development in order to get the details.

The End, WIth a new beggining in sight

Open Rails, Its very sad, but we cannot continue on, there is nobody wanting to play OR Anymore guys up here in the Admin Team, and ben has clarified that his game is very close to dieng. It has brung me to the conclusoin that OR is very unstable at the moment,

I am very sad of what has happened to our little group, and before i move onto the main topic of this post, I want to thank a few people for the support they have put into the group over the past year,

Bendragon80137:
Ben has put a HUGE amount of Effort into fixing content and hosting servers, which is an amazing thing to do and a think we can all thank him immensley,

Mak47:
Mak has helped out over the years and has just been an overall asset to the team, whether it be helping others, or helping find new routes for us, i have to thank him too,

Howler:
For helping out with the OR Content alongside ben.

Rusty:
A Member who is long gone from the group, I want to thank rusty for all the time and effort he put in, and just overall for everything he had done for the group during his time, his amazing company,

I have to thank EVERY SINGLE ONE of you group members who joined in on our sessions, You guys are all AWESOME! :D

However, it is time for us to enter a hybernation for the time being, Hopefully 2017 Will bring us a new train simulator, Train Sim World.

Train Sim World:
Ever since learning about Train Sim world, I and the other members have proposed using it in sessions, however we arent sure how this is going to work yet so, this is only a Theory, not a full plan, it all depends really, I feel it will be a much better game for us all than OR atm, However, this will stay the OR Group for Two reasons.

OR Is what we play, its what we played, its what we want, but we cant run a group on OR anymore, becuase its far too unstable, and dodgy. Sessions are ending up with users unhappy and sometimes even angry when OR Doesnt work for them. As the leader of the group, I do not want this to continue, Until Open Rails is a more Stable place, we will go into hibernation, and or join you guys to the games,

The other reason is, members,
Its like asking for subscribers, im sorry, but at most we have about 5 people joining, and to all the people that do join, your amazing, thank you, I'm not going to tye you to the sleepers of the railway line just for not joining, I just, I want you guys to spread our existance everywhere, tell friends, tell as many people as you can.

Anyway, I hope this sort of lays an explenation on why we have been just asleep for a very very very very very very very long time.

Alright, that leaves it here for me, and ben, and mak, Everyone! :D

We apologise for the amount of downtime, there's still a heavy amount of content to fix and get ready and since there's practically me who works on OR content, I've been rushed off my feet trying to get that sorted.

I also happen to be the only person who hosts OR server that adds a little bit of pressure to get stuff done.

Unfortutunitely, my OR has malfunctioned form extreme use, I'll see if I can fix it ASAP and get this stuff Done and hopfully host more servers when stuff is more stable. I can't say when this will be done unfortuntiely.
