About Okamina

Introduction:

When visiting Okamina, one of the first things you may question is the origin of our name. Okamina is a name adapted from the Japanese word Okami, meaning Wolf. After consideration, we felt the Wolf is a perfect animal to represent us as a community. This is because the wolf works as part of a pack to achieve a goal, both receiving and giving support, whilst also carrying it's own individual traits.

So why does this link in with us as a community? Members of our community all carry their own unique traits and at the same time, they work together among one another to be of support, whether that's in game or out. This applies to the staff as well. The staff have all been chosen as they are viewed as fit for the role. They want to see the best for this community, and work hard to make it more enjoyable to be in by the day!

Our Aims:

What we want to achieve from Okamina, is quite simple. We aim to become a wider gaming community. With your support, that can happen!

Partnerships:

Being as we want to expand our community as much as possible, we feel a good way of doing so is forming relationships with other communties in the not so distant future in order to help them out whilst recieving some support! If the time comes where some partnerships a formed, information regarding those will be found here!

Further Information:

As of recent we made the move over to discord from TeamSpeak. This is because we feel we can build more of a community with discord thanks to some of the features it has which TS does not. Furthermore, with future discord updates, any 'gaps' in the advanced features will be filled, making discord more ideal than ever. The link to our server will be found below.

The other thing to keep note of is our potential, upcoming website. A while back we did have a site, however it ended up getting taken down due to some confidential reasons. That said, we are now in a position where we could create a brand new, fresh website that is better than ever before. With this idea looking more promising by the day, it could soon become a reality.
