The Old Skool Community shall not die! Come one, come all, gamers of the past!

When I first heard the uproar of angry weeaboos/furries/bronies complaining about the removal of the /me feature, I thought it was hilarious. Now now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing personal against these people. The only thing I can't understand is, why they make such a big deal about this whole feature to begin with?

Sure, it makes your text look fancy and your 'roleplaying' looks more proper (to you at least), but do you really have to act so childish about it? Please, if the only kind of reasoning you can come up with such as "Well, it probably won't even stop scamming, so why?" or "Because now my roleplaying messages don't feel the same anymore", how do you expect Valve to actually take you guys seriously? Don't try and sell Valve short; over the years, the number of members in the Steam Community has been increasing and still is.

The only reason I've brought this up is because there are HUNDREDS of people just complaining about the removal of that feature, but most of them don't even bother to think of the GOOD things Valve has also put into place, like offline messaging along with previous chat history. Anyways, I just thought I'd put this out here, although there is hardly anyone in this group; I just needed to put my thoughts somewhere around here.
