关于 Workshop Payments? NO!

We do not want to pay for our mods!

You there!

Do you think that we, as the steam customers, should PAY for our modifications to our games? Do you think that we should pay for more stuff to add to our games that might not even work or be in any way useful? Do you think that steam workshop is becoming another way to launder money?

Did you know that:

Valve takes 75% of the modders profit
There is no system or bot that tracks mods to see if they are stolen or not
There is no system or bot in place to ensure a mod or addon is/has completely functional and working/a minimal amount of effort put into modification/poor performance.
The mod creator(s) lose all rights to the mod/addon once it is uploaded
Some addons being completely overpriced.
No protection in place for modders ditching/breaking an addon and taking the profit.
24hr refund scheme even though future updates/patches could result in the addon being incompatible or broken.
No protection against mods that are against copyright regulations and are up for a DMCA takedown, which can cause some issues.

What can you do?

Well here you can help the steam community and protest against this new implementation by Valve and free the workshop of pointless payments! All you got to do is join this group, invite your friends and sign the petition HERE!

Hello all,

it is time again. Bethesda is trying to push more paid mods, and frankly, I still don't think it's a good idea. Mods are like free DLC, made by the community. Mods help players make their game what they want it to be and it is a great way to get good content for free legally. But bethesda is trying to paygate it. We don't want to pay for something that we were getting for free anyways. I understand donating to a modder, but forcing us to pay them is a little bit over the top for something that has always been free.

We will abolish this silly implementation.
