Guitarist, Songwriter, a genius in his own way

Nick Drake was a man of few words. The only glips that is really to be had of Nick is from his deep and melodic songs. As a fellow guitarist, Nick almost gives the feeling that he is weaving the way he plays. Nick wrote on a scale that is not seen today. Something that was real.

A brief look on his life...

He was born on 19 July 1948, in Bruma.

He later moved to England and later graduated to Cambridge.

He produced 3 albums

-Pink Moon

In his last years following Pink Moon, Nick became simply, depressed. On Nov, 25 1974, Nick was found lifeless on his bed. It was found that Nick had overdosed on sleeping pills. People agrue that it was suicide, yet his family thinks it was an accident, because Nick would take antidepressants and sleeping pills to help himself sleep. Nick Drake once said to his mother Molly "I have failed at everything ive done" referring to his goal to reach people with his music.

Nick Drake is something apart from everything. Yet this amazing artist has passed on his music will always remain.
