The 6th Cavalry Regiment is a Vietnam Era military simulation unit for Arma 3. We aim to achieve a high standard of realism and authenticity in the way we play. Our group is composed of military enthusiasts, we have extended knowledge of real US military ethics and tactics with several of our own members currently enlisted. We use this knowledge to create true to the universe objectives and missions. The base of the unit is that of an air armored cavalry regiment attached to a larger combat team with additional artillery support, then attached to a division. Operations typically consist of light infantry working with heavily armored vehicles such as IFVs, APCs, and tanks, with an emphasis on planning, teamwork and firepower to accomplish the mission. The unit is full of veterans of Arma milsim units and strive to better the gameplay and themselves with every session, sharpening skills and knowledge with every mission. We are able to create authentic, intense, and exciting operations through the use of our ability to create missions and objectives and then execute them.
