Tier 3 Roleplaying

The Netherlands was truly formed when it became the Dutch Republic in 1581, however, the eighty years war had already started 13 years earlier, until the Spanish were defeated(with aid from an English army) in 1648. In the same century, the Dutch became a major economic, and naval power, with trading posts all over the world. The Batavian Republic was formed in1795, but just 11 years later was conquered by Bonaparte, and for 1 year it was a puppet kingdom until the French absorbed into the French Empire. During this time The Netherlands's colonies were mostly seized by the British. 3 years later theFrench left, and 2 years after that The Netherlands became a kingdom. During this time the Dutch were able to restore small parts of their Empire, including; Deshima (Japan), Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), Netherlands New Guinea (Indonesia), and other small settlements. It is now 1848 (1848-1865)The Dutch now have a lot of ground to cover, before it can be restored to it’s previous glory.

Wars- Great Britian, The Central Powers (Ottamans and Austria Ausrtia)

Achievments- Co Founder of the United Nations, Freed Belgium, Is in a War to free the UK, CoFounder of the Baltic Commonealth, and has created a Balance of Power in Europe to allow Peace, by creating of Alliance, and Giving Malta to the USA.
