NiP was in a major slump last time we saw them play. Since then they have pulled out of all online play and tournaments. No idea what to expect from them. They did beat CLG the last time they played them 16-7 on mirage but that was back during Katowice 2015. CLG is regarded as the 2nd best in NA after Cloud9. They have the ability to hang with tier 1 teams like fnatic and cloud9 and if everything clicks they can upset. Tarik is one of the best aimers in NA and IMO one of the best aimers in the entire csgo scene right now. If JDM manages to land shots early and get the momentum going they have a real shot of taking this BO1.

nV underwent a roster change picking up KennyS and Apex from titan. So far the new pickups have been doing great and Kenny is performing better without the pressure from his old teammates back on titan. This new team has played fairly well beating TSM 3-0 in a BO5. Flipsid3 recently cut ties with their superstar player s1mple. Since then, the team has played iffy losing to E-Frag 8-16 9-16, beating HR in 2 BO3s, and losing to Kinguin 9-16, 13-16. If Flipsid3 wants to pull off this upset against nV, other players need to setup so its not all on worldedit.

LG recently dropped their old roster (now mythic) for ex-keyd stars. The Brazilian team hasnt been seen much since ESWC where the stomped on Boreal 16-3. They played pretty well at the ESl ESEA tournament where they beat TSM 16-12 on Inferno and lost to Fnatic 16-19, 5-16. They also lost to the old Flipsid3 roster 13-16. Kinguin is the dream team everybody wanted to see. Scream and Rain with all their sick shots are always fun to watch. They beat Space Soldiers in 16-5, 16-6, but barely beat them again in a BO3 winning 16-14, 21-25, 16-14. The edged out Efrag 16-14, 19-17, but lost to mousesports in 3-0 in a BO5 without putting up much a fight. They also beat HR 16-2, 14-16, 16-11. And everyone remembers the good old 16-0 victory they had on cache against VP. Pretty good team that has the ability to beat anyone if their aim is on point.

Last time these two teams played eachother was at Gamescon which was not to long ago. TSM manhandled Renegades 16-4 on dust2. TSM should beat them with ease this time but the odds are so bad for TSM it's not worth placing a high bet on TSM.
