This is the time! The time for nations to rise or nations to fall! What will your destiny be?

This is a role play based in the 1700s (18th century) a time where many nations futures hanged in the balance. This RP is a free timeline so you don't need to follow history however that is your choice, but we want this RP to have standards and be realistic. There will be admin events such as revolts, uprisings, protests for each nations some historically accurate and some not and your actions will effect the future of your nation.

I don't expect you all to be experts in this time period so any questions just ask a admin, they will help guide you.

Death of Charles II

His Majesty, Charles II has died peacefully in his sleep due to unrelenting illness.

His Majesty, Charles II, By the Grace of God, King of Spain, King of Naples and Sicily, King of Majorca, King of Sardinia and Milan and King of the Netherlands has passed away. Charles II was a childless and sickly ruler. He has no children to pass the throne onto. As such, in his will, he named his legal successor and heir-apparent as Philip of Anjou, the grandson of Louis XIV, King of France. It is rumoured that a majority of Spanish people support this choice. Either way, before his death Charles II brokered an alliance between France and Spain, as such, many Spanish nobles believe that Philip of Anjou is the lawful successor to the Spanish Empire.
