Hi all,

I'm sad to announce, after almost a decade, that the NORULES Server will be coming to an end on October 17th.

When I first purchased COD:BO1, I noticed a lot of the servers had restrictions on weapons or perks. Hence NORULES was born, I started it with the simple philosophy that we wouldn't restrict any weapons or perks, resulting in pure sweet carnage.

Clearly I wasn't the only player who was after an unrestricted experience, over the years we had more than 400,000 unique player ID's come in and out of the server. The NORULES Black Ops server was the #1 server in Australia for a very long time and a top 10 global server. We even spawned a number of copycat servers.

For me personally, it was a labour of love, I never accepted a single donation for the server, despite the numerous offers from the very kind and loyal community we had here and I dedicated a lot of time/effort in putting this group together. Figures Steam finally sorted their ♥♥♥♥ out when it comes to Group Chat as i'm closing this server down! Nice to know the turn around time for feedback is approximately 8 years.

I couldn't be more happy with the people I met along the way, the conversations I had and the clan members who stuck it out with me all these years! Thanks guys for being so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dope. <3

A special thanks goes out to my super loyal admin crew who were the real people helping keep the place alive and clean for the last few years while I was busy with IRL stuff, you guys are legend beyond legend, much <3.

As far as the NORULES discord goes? That place is still up and kicking, I think it's become a little nexus for a lot of the old crew to come hang out - I still visit it regularly to nab all the free deals that get posted! I don't plan on shutting it down, this group will also remain open.
