Kansas City PvE 7D2D is BACK!

Hey guys,

I am happy to finally announce that the Kansas City 7D2D server is back again! and there have been quite a few exciting changes surrounding this.

First and the biggest news is that we no longer have to rely on support from a GSP. We have our own dedicated hardware and we are managing this hardware on our own. This should help reduce downtime and time it takes to update to experimental builds.

The hardware essentially is overkill just to host a 7D2D and we should never need to tap out all the resources for one single server.

This hardware opens us up to more possibilities such as, running a dedicated PvE and PvP 7D2D server. As well we will be able to host other game servers.

If you have questions regarding any of this please feel free to ask me in the comments or send me a direct steam message with any questions or comments.

Kansas City 7D2D

Due to lack of support from the host the 7D2D server is currently closed.

The current host refused to update to the experimental build which caused all of our playerbase to go elsewhere. I decided to close the account instead of wait for the stable build.

I am currently researching alternatives instead of hopping from host to host. This includes renting dedicated hardware.

Whenever I find an effective solution, we will be considering bringing it back. Finding a suitable and cost effective deal on hardware is underway. Doing so would also suggest that we would be able to host other servers for other games as well.

I appreciate and thank everyone that has played with us and has enjoyed the Kansas City 7D2D server. It is my hopes that soon we will be able to offer it again and not be limited by most hosts restrictions soon.
