About Us
The Joint Task Force was originally an ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead Realism unit but since the release of ArmA 3 we have transferred all our assets onto ArmA 3. The primary focus of the unit is infantry combat which due to ACE 3 and TFAR makes a truly immersive experience. We use modern military tactics, techniques, communication and protocol to further increase the Mil-Sim experience. The majority is based around infantry platoons with a moderate amount of supporting assets
The basics of a realism unit is role-playing. We strive to promote an immersive and professional environment for members to role-play in by supplying a realistic military experience. When in-game, members are expected to act as if they are acting military personnel in a battlefield or in a training environment. in order to keep realism intact we keep our minimum age requirement to be able to join the JTF as 13, however if you are a mature individual we can overlook this fact.
This is however different for the 427th Squadron as the requirement is to be a mature individual over the age of 16. All other assets in the community follow the rule of 13 and over.
The aspiration of this unit is to always balance the realism with fun. if there is no enjoyment in the unit there is no point in the unit being around. we always have to remember that ArmA 3 is a game and we are here for entertainment, and we may from time to time error on the side of fun.
