Muscovy

Its the early 1600's, the Romanov family, led by now Tsar Michael I (this is a coincidence that this is my name!), have control of the glorious state of Muscovy! His armies, traveller and merchants, have secured vast masses of land. Under Ivan the Terrible, the Muscovites crossed the Urals, conquered Siberia and extended themselves accross the Middle Volga and secured the region of Kazan. Muscovy is a bustling region with trade and commerce booming. Inside the Kremlin, the central heart of Moscow and a fortress, lie the three orthodox cathedral's with their tall onion domes. Yet Muscovy is looking to expand, conquest of the marauding Crimean Khan is a great possibilty and further looking expansion towards the pacific ocean.
