Group is now a relic

Time has a way of rendering many things obsolete, and I feel that this group has now run its course. MGC is a Legacy of a time long gone, and specifically a game almost dead, Killing Floor. Though it opened up as KF2 came on board, the group has become defunct, adding no new members, and serving no real purpose anymore.

Yes, the Killing Floor Games tournamnet was played numerous times, and players from this group did participate, but other than the first tournament years ago, the subsequent events didn't really fill the teams with members of this group, rather they added to this group with players already familiar with those in the team.

The MGC servers are dead and long gone, and I don't know if we'll see them back again. I won't be getting another server, and I'm not sure about c00kie. Previously, the KF1 server became solely a tournament practice server and wasn't open to the public.

So, I guess I'm waffling, but those that know me already expected that I'm sure.

I view the life and purpose of this group as both now defunct. Unless people wish the group to remain, (and please if you do let me know in the comments), I will delete this group in about a weeks time - around 31 October/1 November give or take.

New KFG Tournament

Hello MGC!

I am StarWarsOZ, and I am in charge of the section of this community that competes in the Killing Floor Games when they are run. A new tournament has just been announced, and I am hoping to enter a few MGC teams, as we have done before.

I just wanted to see if anybody would like to join up this time around, and help out the team, or if you know anybody who would like to sign up.
What this involves is putting aside some time a few nights a week for training with your team, and also time on the weeked for the actual tournament games. Please dont come along if you can't dedicate the time, because that is unfair for the rest of your team.

Obviously we would prefer if you had plenty of experience in KF, as it seems like this tournament it is going to be even harder than before. But we will happily help anyone who wants to try out.

If you are interested, please get in touch with either myself or JackRipper, and we will add you too our seperate group.

Well I am not sure a number of hours matters that much, plenty of people with lots of hours that just play normal ect. If we can find somebody keen, thats a start.

Hi all

Just passing on an expression of interest from Jedi Mart for a Commentator for the KFG (Killing Floor Games).

You don't have to have any experiance as a commentator just be willing to give it a go.

What would be useful, experiance in playing KF. As the KFG involves tournements with KF teams competing againts one another for the fastest time to complete all waves of KF and survive of course.

If this sounds like somthing you would be interested in please let me know.
