Might and Delight!

What is Might and Delight? Might and Delight is a company who developes video games. Some of Might and Delight's most famous games are Shelter. The entire Shelter franchise, I should say.
Shelter actually wasn't the first games they made. Some of the first games they made are Pid, and The Blue Flamingo. The Blue Flamingo wasn't that popular, it had mixed reviews. (I'll tell you more about it later...)
Also, Might and Delight is also partnered with Catea.

Development of Shelter

Might and Delight began development on Shelter in January 2013 following the release of Pid.The game was announced and listed on Steam Greenlight in April, accepted in July, and released on 28 August of the same year. In December 2013 Might and Delight released a free add-on for Shelter in which the player must feed their cubs once a day for a month to stop them from dying. This was called Nurture mode. Each day you would feed them 2 food items. A turnip, and an apple. To travel further for more food you'd have to continue to feed them for 8 whole days, then the log barrier would go away. Keep in mind, these are real life days.
That is how Shelter was born.

Development of Shelter 2

Shelter 2 is an open world survival video game developed by Might and Delight for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The game is a sequel to 2013's Shelter. It was released on March 9, 2015 and, like its predecessor, was made available on Steam as a digital download. In March 2014 Might and Delight announced the development of Shelter 2, releasing a teaser trailer and setting a release date of Autumn 2014. The game was delayed to March 9, 2015 in October 2014 after the developers announced a different game would be released first, The Blue Flamingo.
That was how Shelter 2 was born.

Development of Paws: A Shelter 2 Game

Paws is a standalone, single player, adventure, platformer set in the world of Shelter 2 with loss and friendship as its central themes.

So, I feel like this group went dead after a while, no new shelter games, but now, there's more.
Might and Delight has released a new game called 'Meadow' on Steam for you to play!

Meadow is a multiplayer game instead, where you can choose your animal. This is very different from the previous shelter games. The previous ones involve you as a mother animal raising your babies from baby, to adult, and keeping them all alive and fed equally. But Meadow, there is no killing, it's an adventure, made for you to share with online people.

Meadow is 3.99 Canadian, and 2.99 US.

The Return of the Lynx
A captive breeding program that has tripled numbers of lynx in Spain over the last 15 years may now be followed by the reintroduction of the lynx to the UK after an absence of more than 1,000 years. While the return of a major predator worries farmers, the tufty-eared cat is proving a major hit with others in both Spain and Germany, writes Fergal MacErlean.

In 2002, things were looking bad for the Iberian lynx. Once widespread in Portugal, Spain and southern France there were fewer than 100 adults left - all in southern Spain - and only 25 breeding females.

Cork oak forests, the lynx's favourite habitat, had been being felled or thinned for more than a century, and the move to screw-top wine bottles was threatening even what remained. At the same time the rabbit population, the lynx's main food, had been ravaged by disease.

It was at this point that urgent steps were taken to capture young animals and start a breeding programme.

The first animals born in captivity were released in 2010. In 2014 and 2015, 124 animals were released. By the end of last year there were 400 lynx on the Iberian peninsula, the vast majority in Andalusia, in southern Spain, but with smaller new populations in the hills near Toledo, in Extremadura (south-western Spain) and in southern Portugal.
