IMPY here. Wanted to say that I'm surprised that people still care about this group and are still posting comments now and again.

Many of you are upset about the "list" - some comaplain about the absence of a band, others about the presence of band, which they think doesn't belong in the rock/metal genre, or about the order in which the bands are put. Now I think is a good time for a small story about the creation of the group. Three years ago (maybe more idk) me and my co-admin Evil Needle (who has been banned for over a year now) started this group because, well, we had nothing better to do I suppose. We were pretty new to Steam but it didn't take us long to understand how the groups work and so on. So being fond of metal/rock music we decided to start our on group themed around that type of music. Back then we knew a handful of band but we decided that instead of just making a boring old group we should do something more interesting so we made the whole "list" thing.

The group started as an experiment kinda, but soon we had 100 people. Now that doesn't sound that impresive but this is where I would like to address the most recent comment saying we're a bunch of "edgy" kids or whatever - when we first made this group, me and Evil Needle were 13 or something (and yes we considered ourselves to be very edgy...). I ♥♥♥♥ you not. 100 people joining our group seemed freaking big back then. We were already making plans to start a site, make the "list" huge and have our own servers and all that. It was like starting our own company back then, that's how it felt. But around the time we hit 300 members we got bored of the idea (like every any other kid would) and moved on to do other stuff. Needle ditched Steam for the most part and I just didn't even bother to check the group because I honestly thought it was dead. That's the reason why we haven't been active and working on the list and all that good jazz. Sorry everyone.

I do have to say though - looking at 367 people here makes me happy. And to think some of you guys still care makes it even better, So here is my offer - if anyone feels like they can bring this place back to life just PM me and I'll give you admin rights and everything. Maybe this group has some sort of a future after all.
