Well it finally happened, From Software ran out of dark souls.
First SRW and GGen now Armored Core is coming to PC. Someone port Steel Battalion next.

Mechs and VR was something people tried to ocmbine even in the earliest days of VR. It's just a good match.

Gladiabots looks like a treat, let's hope it will fill the void left after carnage Heart. Being both rich in customization and easy to pick up with block programming grid.

yeah, there´s even an app named war robots doing the BT copying on android...
looking like from the makers of world of tanks and such

This one is more of the "jumping the Mechwarrior train" than the "Battletech train"...but it's VR, with big stompy robots with lots of weapons...so it has a few things going for it already, maybe... :p (But does seem to be more of a "tank with your face" type game...)

On the completely other side, strategy-wise, is this one, where you program the overarching AI commands of your robot team, to try to out-smart and out-perform your competition...
