I feel the same way too! I've seen way too many people claiming they're Infjs when the appreances say otherwise, tho I still gave each and everyone the benefit of the doubt and talked to them to see if they really are Infjs. 99% of them weren't. Also, I wish the Infjs being rare wasn't a thing.

To me the reason there are more member in the infj steam group is because people with that personality type (they claim at least) always try to find others because when they do the 16 personalities test and get it they get told they are incredibly rare. I've met more "infjs" than almost any other personality type except maybe ESTP/ESFP. Probably have only talked to one true INFJ and it made total sense. He was the person who taught me the mbti stuff when I was like 12 lmfao

I doubt anyone really is an infj. I think its rare to see because it sounds sort of contradictory. infj is an uptight infp basically which is weird when you think of the Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling aspects.
