The Studies and Observations Group (aka SOG, MACSOG, and MACV-SOG) was a joint unconventional warfare task force created on 24 January 1964 by the Joint Chiefs of Staff as a subsidiary command of the Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV). The unit would eventually consist primarily of personnel from the United States Army Special Forces, the United States Navy SEALs, the United States Air Force, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and elements of the United States Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance units.

By Playing out as MACVSOG in a milism campaign, it leaves many options open to different kit and types of operations that can be created, ie having a CIA character to missions where you would be capturing a high ranking enemy officer, to even rescuing downed pilots and even being involved in high profile attacks on enemy positions with regular army units once recon work has been carried out in certain areas etc.

We would also be looking to do combine operations with other clans also.

IFA3: New models and stuff

Well i was contacted today by a friend of a modeler, pretty much someone making content for IFA3 and our unit has been exclusively chosen to play n test the new stuff out ! :)

Stay tuned for testing time, NB it wont be announced, so if you are interested contact me personally and you will be put down on the test list.
