PC Gaming Is Not To Be Set To Console Rules!!!

When joining this group, you believe that we as PC users should have the right to run our own servers with our own properties and standards.

This is an open group, so invite anyone and everyone who believes that we should have the right for dedicated servers on all platforms of gaming on the pc. We should not have to pay for a limited game, we are pc gamers and users.. so therefore we should have the right to NOT be limited to a console gaming rule and we should be able to take control of settings in our own clans.

There is no way that we should all go out to buy a game only to find that we are now limited to what we can do and play online. Why pay for a game just to pay for it again in the long run.

A message I got for puting my dedicated server online for more to join, from Steam/Valve.

It has come to our attention that you have violated the terms of agreement, and we are forced to therefore give you a final warning. Our programming is set at a base rate for proper gaming, and we have our own security to keep our gaming engines clean. You are not allowed to use your account for your own personal gain, as well you are not allowed to change the game properties in anyway to meet your own demands. Modern Warfare 2 has a maximum of 18 players online in each room for security and bandwith purposes and should not be upgrading to to suit your needs of a 30 person room. We regret to inform you that if you persist on making a dedicated personal server under your account, then your account will be terminated without notice."



That is why I would like to get as many players into this group just to show Steam/Valve that we are all here to play the gae and not to run out by console systems and thier rules. We are PC gamings and we would like to keep it that way.
