Hello and welcome to La Rifa!

La Rifa directly translates into “The Raffle” and that is exactly what this group is about.

We were founded on August 19th 2013 by CaliJon!

La Rifa is a group designed so that everybody is able to participate in the fun that is La Rifa, whether you’re rich or you’re poor in TF2!

We are proud to say that we do not use any invite bots, and that you were invited by one of your friends, not a bot.

What Kind of raffles do we have and when?

We Host free raffles every weekend that hold a minimum of 4 hats (normal, not unusual).

Buy-In Raffles:

The Buy-In Raffles that we host, just like the other raffles we do, have the winners found by using random.org. A first come first serve system is used to decide what number you are.

Most of these Buy-In Raffles will be held on the weekends. And we will be taking in entries up to that point.

Lottery/Jackpot/Potluck Raffles:

These raffles are a variant of the buy-in raffle but instead of having a set price(i.e. 1 key) we will gauge it by the amount of members we get into the group.

Once we hit a certain milestone we will raffle off items. Bigger Milestone = Bigger and Better Prizes!

Every 100, 300, 500, 700, 900, etc, we will be raffling off free items that are either donated to us or items from CaliJon's own BP.

And for free unusuals:

It will be held every 1000, 3000, 5000, 7000, 9000 etc, until we hit 10k members, then there will be an extra special prize/s! I may even do 2-3 unusuals at that milestone, just for kicks!

Are admins/mods able to buy-in for ANY raffles?

The answer to that is, NOPE!

Scammer & General Safety Info:

Well, due to us being a public group, there is always the possibility that scammers join us and try to use our group as a place to get to individuals and do their scum deeds.

Soo, because of this, I (CaliJon) and my staff are asking you to report any suspected scammers that have joined this group and we will delete them.

And please make sure if you're trading for a buy-in raffle, you're trading with CaliJon only because the other admins aren't collecting buy-ins.
