The Legion is a six month old Portuguese-British infantry regiment who take part in many games but primarily Mount & Blade: Warband. Our regiment has been formed by members, new and old, of the Mount & Blade community as well as other players new the the Napoleonic Genre in order to participate in competitive events hosted in Oceania as a creative, friendly and cohesive community that participate in a semi-serious fashion.

The regiment will run by Portuguese Ranks (posted here in discussions) and follow a code of conduct (here[docs.google.com]) that will allow all members of the regiment to enjoy this aspect of the game as best they can, unhampered by bullying, racism or anything similar.

Formation & Nationalities
The Loyal Lusitanian Legion (LLL) was considered a "foreign volunteer corps" formed by Portueguese émigrés, José Maria Moura and Carlos Frederico Lecor, who had entered political exile following the French invasion of Portugal and had departed for the United Kingdom. The Legion was made up mostly Portuguese, British and German troops.

Military Action
After formation in 1808, the Legion went on to fight in many encounters during the "Peninsula Campaign" the most major of these engagements being: Battle of Alcantara, Battle of Talavera de la Reina and the Battle of Busaco

Command & Other Information
Duting active service from the LLL's formation during July 1808 until it's disbansion on the 4th of May, 1811, after being transferred to the Portuguese Army, with its units being transformed into the 7th, 8th and 9th battalions of caçadores. The Legion remained under the command of Robert Thomas Wilson, an Englishman.
