8 Survivor Campaigns are not dead.

They've been "sleeping".

I'm currently working on a new version of the mod however I would like some input.


L4D or L4D 2?


That's the question. There are drawbacks and advantages to both choices, however I will tell you a few things.

I have successfully put the L4D survivors in L4D2 and all it requires is that the user download a vpk of the models so that they can play and see them on the server.


However the upgrades that were given to the survivors in the mod from L4D do not work in L4D2, I've tried my best but I can't get them to.


Now, I myself prefer L4D over L4D2 the big question to me is what does the community think. I know that a lot of you love L4D and a lot of you love L4D 2. But my question is which am I going to go forward and work on this with. Like I said, advantages and disadvantages to this.

I hope you all agree but I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep the mod on Expert. There was a pretty big discussion about this a while back if the mod should be Expert or it should be Normal. I myself prefer Expert and I think that's what it's gonna be.

Either way, I no longer use StevenlAFl's server box so I am accepting donations towards the purchase of a server or servers.

Anyways, this is a bit long and a bit scatter brained I haven't been on this account in a while and I wanted to make sure I mentioned all this to you guys because I'm normally on my other account which isn't admin in the steam group.

Please post below your suggestions and if you'd prefer the mod to be for L4D or L4D2.
