What is the Honours Competition?

The HC Explained

The Honours Competition is ment to once again bring back the best way possible to play MW2. That's the purpose of this competition. We try to achieve this goal by well-overthought rules, a bonding concept and an exciting competitive element. In the HC, 32 individual participants will be devided over 8 teams of 4 players. These teams are led by the HC-Teamcaptains. These captains will be chosen by the participants themselves in a voting. For an unknown amount of weeks, the teams will be battling each other every weekend to climb up the HC-Ranking. The team at the top of this ranking at the end of the competition is the glorious winner.

Anti-Hacking Method

MW2 still lacks an entirely efficient anti-hacking method. As a way to still counter-attack hackers, we will use a form of direct democracy: if a contributer suspects another contributer is hacking, this can be passed on to the head-organizer; Gregor. There'll be held a voting. If there's more yeses than noes, the player will be kicked out of the group and thereby banned from the competition. If this causes a team to have less than 4 players in their team, this gap needs to be filled up by a different player. This can be voluntary or forced and in such case a player will be picked randomly.

The Honours Competition Gameplay Rules

Primary weapon:

• Assault rifles: all allowed
  
• Sub machine guns: all allowed
  
• Light machine guns: only the AUG HBAR is allowed
  
• Sniper rifles: only the Intervention is allowed
  
• Riot shield: not allowed

Secondary weapon:

• Machine pistols: all allowed
  
• Shotguns: only the ranger and M1014 are allowed
  
• Handguns: all alowed
  
• Launchers: not allowed

Equipment and Special grenades:

• Equipment: only the frag and blast shield are allowed
  
• Special grenades: all allowed

Perks:

• Perk 1: Only Marathon is allowed
  
• Perk 2*: Only Lightweight is allowed
  *Only when using a sniper rifle, Stopping Power may also be used.
  
• Perk 3: Only Ninja is allowed

Deathstreak:

Only Copycat is allowed.

Attachments (primary/secondary):

All allowed, except for Grenade Launcher, Shotgun and Akimbo.

Killstreaks:

Killstreaks are not allowed.

Game maps and modes:

• Game maps: all allowed, except for Rust, Underpass, Wasteland and all Bonus Maps
