I love your last sentence. That's exactly what we're going to do.

November 13th was my birthday. I still remember how I got banned a few days before that last year. I tried so many things to find a way to nullify my ban, but there’s no helping hand from Valve that would make it possible to get in touch with them and discuss the issue. We simply have no chance. It was clear from the very beginning, really.
But back then, we all had a glimmer of hope. Because it wasn’t us who cheated—Valve simply didn’t have their Anti-Cheat engine under control. And for that, we had to pay the price.

Some people spent less money on the game (100-200€ like me), while others practically had their retirement savings sitting in their Steam inventory (like the owner of this group).
But even with these undeserved bans, Valve will stick to their zero-trust policy and won’t give us a voice. It is what it is.

I wish everyone in this group a peaceful life. Stay safe and healthy.

So the way I interpret it, “Chris” wanted to accommodate you and help you with the problem. Then you send your answer back and now "Vin" takes over, who just wants to tick you off and Chris got fired haha.
I have the feeling that the support staff are given very clear instructions that they are not allowed to reveal a bit of information or transparency. One of the shittiest supports I have ever experienced...

This is absolutely useless information if you do not write the reason for your ban. Most of the people in this group received a ban for high mouse sensitivity. As far as I know, none of them were unbanned, just like me. Therefore, writing something like “I was unbanned” without indicating the reason is irresponsible. You are giving people false hope, although you were banned (and unbanned) for a different reason.

The ban bug for High DPI rotation is still under investigation, maybe in March will happens a new unbans wave
