Fast Paced Games

If you want to have a game with someone where there's no more than a few minutes between each turn, then join this group and converse with each other to organise games.

I highly recommend that all players looking for fast paced games should join our group chat to find an opponent.

Please follow by these rules when playing an organised game:
- Try to keep each turn fast. You should only take a minute or two to make a decision on your turn.
- Ignore your other games when it's currently your turn on the organised game.
- If you have to take a break for any reason, you must let the opponent know.
- Only play 1 organised game at a time.
- Most importantly, have fun and don't be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This group was made so chess-like strategy game nuts like myself can enjoy fast paced gameplay in Hero Academy, instead of waiting hours or days for the opponent to submit their turn.

Ethics and Tips when having an Organised Game

There has been some people posting in the group's comment section in order to find games. While I have no issues with this, it may be best to join our group chat in order to find others currently interested in an organised game.

There are a few things that can be done to make organised games run faster and smoother. One of them is to hit the refresh button at the top right of your game listings. Press it every 30 seconds after a minute has passed by or so. You could also use steam chat to let your opponent know when you submitted your turn. That way they'll know when to start using the refresh button.

Another observation that makes games go faster is to play with your iOS device. It's been observed that the Steam version of this game doesn't update as fast as the iOS version. I don't have any evidence to support this claim nor do I know if it will change in future patches. Your best bet is to probably use the refresh button on Steam.

I'd like to remind all group members that you should not keep your opponent waiting on your turn without letting them know if you're going to be afk for a while. I know things can just come up and you have to get off the computer. That's fine. Just don't leave your opponent in the dark about it.

Remember that organised games with members in our group take precedence over any other games. This means you shouldn't be playing rounds of Orcs Must Die between Hero Academy turns.
