Help Outpost is the re-boot of Help Central after I left it due to peer pressure and everyone asking for everything. I have made this because I want to have another go and I am more experienced in greater trading.

About us:

Doc Sarcastic: Doc is based in a small town called Bishop Auckland in the UK, he likes writing, making youtube videos and pancakes. My real name is Ewan so feel free to call me Ewan or Doc.

Dem Gnashers: Dem Gnashers is actually a very rich guy called Tavish, he's based somewhere in America and has helped me trade my way through the ranks. He's definately of use.

The Old Pyro: He may be old but he knows his stuff. He has lots of experience with trading and being scammed so think of him as a sort of councellor to look up to if something goes wrong.

Mike Hawke: Also based in England Mike is, umm, I don't know really. He gave me a key once. Really nice chap.

MadPWNS1896: Based in the parts of the unknown, I met Mad in a back alley, so of course the reasonable thing to do is to invite him to the group.

These five guys are the ONLY admins and you will learn to respect and love them.

Of course we all have our own opinions so we may disagree or agree on things. Below this wall of text there are useful links for trading. Please invite your friends and anyone you think needs help. I'm going to try my best to keep this up and running for as long as possible.

This Group is solely based on Team Fortress 2 but if you want some Dota 2 and such added then just notify me and I'll put up a petition.

Well, this is awkward

Just a quick notice that the group may look like it's dead and not doing anything right now but that's because I've been away for a few months after my laptop blew up, literally.

So now I have a new laptop and can actually play games on it, the group will be going full speed ahead. This is just a quick notice, and feel free to invite your friends.

A Guide To Trading (High-Tier Trading)

This is the fourth part of my documentary of how to trade, now then. This installment covers unusuals, keys and so on.

Method 1: Spread the Word

Lets say you still haven`t got any offers on your trade post in tf2tp.com. Use other sites like TF2outpost, Source Op, Tf2unusuals, Unusual trading community and last but not least tf2pc.net. Using other sites helps spreading the word out that your selling your unusual and alot more people would look at you post and you would have a better chance to sell that unusual of yours.

Method 2: Be Patient

Lets say you made a trade post at tf2tp can you constantly bump it every 30 minutes and still haven't got any offers and you getting mad. Why aren't people offering other unusuals or buds for your unusual? The key is waiting, you just need to keep bumping that trade for others to view it. This could be because that little someone who is very interested in your unusual wants to offer their items to you and both of you could have an average or even get a better deal out of it.

Method 3: Keys

Keys are going up, there used to be a time in Team Fortress 2 where keys were 2.66 refined. Now they're about 5.55 refined. What you can do is buy keys for around 5.33 or for bargains. You could also buy them in the community market (if your desperate.) Sell them on for the 5.55. It wont help the economy but it'll help you.

Method 4: Don't get mad with c/o's

If you dont know what c/o`s are they stand for current offers, lets say you offered your burning spartan for 9 buds, the guy later reply`s as c/o. This basically means that you have a chance to get it for 9 buds but his still waiting for offers and possibly a "better" offer. You ask him "when are we gunna trade?" He replies "I`m not sure I`m still waiting for offers" and its been weeks and he doesn't accepted you offer, Calm down. This usually happens anyway and could be a possibility when you try and sell your unusual. Also if people offer you there unusuals and its a lowball you shouldn't get angry. Just say thanks for the offer but my hat is worth more, and just be nice, manners shows something in trades.

All right, I've sent them a friend request, banned them from the group. I believe the best thing to do now is block communications with them and send a Steam Support Ticket
