Hidden Object Games

For too long, the Hidden Object Game (or HOG) has been stigmatised with the label of 'casual', as though it is somehow less than other games. On the contrary, the best HOG combines the most interesting elements of video gaming - puzzles, point and click adventuring, exciting cut-scenes, utterly daft story-lines featuring mostly out-of-copyright literary characters...

I have always found Hidden Object Games to be the most consistently reliable fun, just perfect to while away a few hours, and I plan on using this group to curate and review some of my favourites - and warn you of the duds.

And I hope we can all agree that the concept of morphing objects can get fired straight into the sun.
