So what happened?

Keen uses what is called an obfuscator whenever they compile the game. What this means is that each time the game is compiled for a patch, certain methods within the code change properties. This is deliberate on Keen's part. It's dumb, but somehow I think they think it protects their intellectual property.

It's stupid, because what's the point of an putting such work into an API accessable to modders, when you change it every damn patch?

Anyways, what happened was Keen went and changed obfuscators. So nothing within the current generation of user made server software actually works anymore. The modders are hard at work fixing it, but it's taking a while.

At the same time, Keen decided to reorganize the file structure of the game itself in a significant manner that, again, broke the user made software.

Between these two issues, it will take a bit to get the servers sorted out.

Since I'm unwilling to run the server with Keen's default software (which is a joke), the server will remain down until this gets sorted out.
