Hello GurioLAN,

As this is very important to all of us i had to share this more publicly.

Currently there is a Steam Virus still going around (already existing from 2014) that has to do with a link. If you would click this link [link contains "trade" as a word] you would be prompted to install some sort of program with either an .exe or .scr installation extension type.

DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK. As this would upon installing make itself persistant and send every friend in your steam list the same link. Basically using Steam as a way to spread itself.

if you DO HAVE the virus. Please do a Malware and Virus scan for obvious reasons, change your Steam password or do a clean install of it. Would your PC react slow after getting this, chances are that you'll be infected untill you do a complete Windows Reset as the program sits on your memory.

Here a recap of things you can do/perform to get rid of it:

- Malware scan (MalwareBytes Anti-Malware)
- AdWare scan (AdwCleaner)
- Virus scan (Use anything different than windows default)
- Change Steam password
- Clear out registery errors (CCleaner)
- Clear browser data
- Reinstall and change password on Steam
- Reinstall Windows from scratch (Use this in upmost emergency)

I hope this clears things up. And remember to always watch out with whatever you click and install. You'd be suprised how many PC's get infected every day.
