Grand Guesmand

Guesmand is the westernmost empire out of the two duelling in Bulwark.

The current ruler of Guesmand is King Balthazar. While a considerably less notable individual compared to Emperor Beauregard, he is nevertheless a subject of countless criticisms and controversy, and his rule has been viewed as unusually ruthless in comparison to kings of the past.

While not much is known about the climate and geography of Guesmand, it is an apparently long-standing monarchy in the western hemisphere. Guesmand nobles enjoy expensive silk green robes and love using marble in their architecture. The nation is regarded as fairly wealthy, as they profit from the trade of salt mined from Dagabor, as well as Guesmand's infamous cranberry industry.

Guesmanders are known for their cranberries, Asland the tavern keeper says that their juice are "nectar of the gods".
