Greetings fleet!

As you are aware, GoD is transitioning to a new armada. I wanted to take a minute to let you know about the optional resources the new armada has available to our fleet.

1) ufplanets.com website: The site has many forums available for discussion on Star Trek in general and STO in particular, including future updates, what’s happening on the Tribble test server, and more. Registration is free. Most members will want to register as a Federation Citizen. Only those wishing to participate in UFP’s other guilds (such as WoW or SWTOR) will need to register as a Starfleet Officer, which requires going through UFP’s training courses.

2) [UFPlanets] chat channel: Just as we use the [GoD-TF6 Subspace] chat channel to communicate between fleets, UFP uses their own channel to communicate with fleets in both factions and with their armadas. No invitation to join is needed, just press “Esc”, then Chat Settings, then “Channels” tab, type “UFPlanets” in the search box, then Join.

3) TeamSpeak 3: Some UFP events are carried out over TeamSpeak. If you need to download TeamSpeak, you can do so at teamspeak.com. Once you’ve downloaded TeamSpeak and registered for a ufplanets.com account, you can join the TeamSpeak server at the bottom of the ufplanets.com homepage.

Again, these services are optional. Anyone with questions or needing help can contact an officer for assistance. Also, while we don’t expect any issues, members using these services should exercise good behavior, as you are representing GoD & TF6. Members violating the UFP conduct policies could have their UFP account terminated, and may face discipline from GoD/TF6 as well. We doubt this will happen, just have to put this out there.
