Squadron system (For War Thunder)
It has occurred to me that the current squad system may be a bit brittle. To improve current systems, I've been thinking along the lines of running each squad as a squadron rather than individual flights, troops and soon to be ship units. The structure is far more organised and most importantly, it is much larger. Instead of 8 member being spread out as 5 and 3, it will be in 4 divisioned parts consisting of 4 members each.

A squadron will consist of 4 "squads".
Basically it will run something like this:

Troop A
A1.Squadron leader (Squadron leader emblem)
A2.Lefttennant (Wing commander emblem)
A3.Member (1)
A4.Member (2)

Troop B
B1.Senior member (Blue shield) (Axis emblems)
B2.Member (3)
B3.Member (4)
B4.Member (5)

Troop C
C1.Senior member (Symbol of the 14th panzer division) (Axis (tanks) emblems)
C2.Member (6)
C3.Member (7)
C4.Member (8)

Troop D
D1.Senior Member (Red shield) (Axis emblems)
D2.Member (9)
D3.initiate (0)
D4.initiate (0)

This system is adaptable. Initially Troops B, C & D will be for new squadron members while Troop A is for the initial dedicated members.
Later on, Troop A will be the leader's troop while B and C will be for newly dedicated members. Troop D at this point will be for recruiting new members into that squadron.
For veteran squadrons, Troop D will become as troop B & C.
Also this allows for introduction of ranks.
