Creating a squadron
If you want to make your own squad then there are several steps. First off you have to ask a Reg or CoReg to give you the permissions to make a squad.

The squad must include the following:
A name for the squad.
A primary vehicle for the squad chosen from War Thunder (can be a general vehicle (like sherman) or a specific vehicle (like bf109 E).
An Emblem (Not Any of: Squadron leader pennant, Wing Commander Pennant, victory marks, digits, premium access only or one already in use by another squad).
A end tag for the names (the 3 last symbols will be the squad tag).

Recommended to include into the squad:

People's place in the squad (by in-game name with tags)
Recommended BR line-ups for the squad for Standard, heavy and specialist.
Any appointments of squad on a weekly basis (like training).

You will be given admin permissions to create a new discussion on the sub-forums. The title should be the name of the squad.
All squads may consist of a maximum of 16 members (including the squadron leader) split into 4 squads of 4 members. All members should be promoted to moderator on the steam group.

Roles
The roles fulfilled by each member is dependant on their skills and prefered playstyle.

Standard - An all round gamer, best using MBT tanks that are suited to maneuvering into frontal combat while also proving capable of taking hits and hitting back. Most MBT tanks will be able to support flanks in a frontal combat.
Heavy - The big frontal hit taker. This tanker uses long range combat to take hits and gets close enough to deal some damage, best placed in the middle at the front to take the hits and having flank support.
Specialist - Scout. Suited to hiding and flanking or ambush tactics, these people are ahead of everyone and try to gather information about enemy positions before making an attack to the rear of the enemy.
Specialist - Marksman. Sniper by the means of excels in destruction of the enemy at longer ranges by targeting specific modules (not just by fighting at long range). Often lightly armoured, these players rely on hitting the enemy first with precision and firepower. These players are prone to heavy frontal assault and should be placed safely hull down or with more tempting targets that are closer such as the heavy.

Squad leader - Can take up any of the above classes. These people are the assistants of squadron leaders who help manage the sixteen members by making it a mere three squads to manage and three members in their main squad which may also have a leftenant.
Leftenant - A support leader for a squad leader, they take over when needed to and assist in technical, split up squads.
Communications - These people relay messages to and from squad leaders, ensuring all messages are passed on correctly and are responded to properly.
