Events
Event: An event is held due to the celebration of an act within the GWR community, wether it be an anniversary or birthday of an officer or the reaching of a new mark for the GreyWolves Regiment. This can be heavily supported by you joining the event and helping us celebrate our success as GWR, all members of GWR are part of it's success and that means it's parties.

Historic battle: The tanks and planes (maybe even the rules) are set out to create a possible real life battle happen, even thought the results may be different and tactics changed by officers. The numbers are typically less but it would be nice for more to show up. Often these battles are one sided, which is offset by the need for commanders to impliment better tactics and maybe having more numbers.

Theory battle: These battles are often strict on rules and require members to follow the rules strictly. A "theory" battle is for testing methods that could be used in actual combat (such as our experimenting with volley fires in line battle). Squads need to show up to their commanders ready for and ready to fit their role and follow orders precisely. "NVCs" are boubly expected to follow orders of a random squad.

Fun: Events may have rules and guidelines but are typically well balanced. These events can favour more veteran players but are purely for the use of anything and to have a blast. Squads may want to show up together and formation fly for the fun of it.

Sport: Events where rules and guidelines are made but restrictions and need to follow authority are low. Sports follow a points system for each team and require sensible participation of all members equally, NVCs up to Commanders.

Event setup:

Fluff: The story behind the battle, how it's supposed to work and why it's happening.
Rules: Any rules or regulations that are included ontop of the standards, some rules may be added that contridict the standards (such as allowing teamkilling for a deathmatch).
Allowed Vehicles: For both Allied and Axis, add either allowed vehicles by individual names or allocate a realistic battle rating.
Objective: The winning condition of the game, each force has to try and achieve the forces objectives before the enemy, or deny the enemy theirs.
Awards: Any unique awards in the squadron for this match.

I hope this helps all of you make your events successfully. :steamhappy:
