Today, we celebrated 10 years of Global Gamers! We even got surprise cake, thanks to some wonderful members of the Digital Paint: Paintball 2 community! Of course, everyone enjoyed an action-packed day full of games and prizes. Members of our community contributed awesome prizes this year, including crimson, La5eR, and [Aura]HazeofSpace, and we're grateful to everyone who was able to join us!

It's been a crazy 10 years for many of us, and it seems like the years just flew by. We're thrilled to still have this fun little corner of the Internet where we get to hang out. We couldn't do this without all of you! Thank you to the fine folks at [OTB] for letting us take over one of their servers for Digital Paint: Paintball 2, Tastyspleen[tastyspleen.net] for letting us use one of their servers for Action Quake 2, and TastyspleenTV[www.tastyspleen.tv] for excellent video coverage of some of the games we played! In honor of our first decade of existence, we decided to bring back some classic events today that a lot of folks might remember from years past. We kicked off the day with a nod to our very first party, where we had an IdleRPG competition! That's right, the game where you gain points for doing nothing at all, and then the winners get prizes for being the best at doing nothing. It's one of our sillier events from our past and we couldn't help bringing it back. The idle competition ran throughout the rest of the day while everyone competed for prizes in games that actually required involvement.
