The Third Tiberium War Begins...

Date: 3rd of March, 2047.

The Global Defence Initiative, the armed government of the remnants of major human civilisation now stands as the most prominent representation of government across the world; operating out of the advanced blue zones (20% of the world) which are free of the contamination of Tiberium. In recent years, the GDI has slowly began shifting towards are more civilian organisation with intense focus on stopping the spread of Tiberium and hopefully discovering a way to reverse the spread.

However, while this occurs, a shadow from the past is growing and will soon return to reap it's revenge against the GDI and throw the world into Chaos. With the GDI Military being cut back, it may not have the ability to resist this time.

EXOCOM, or Expeditionary Operations Command, is a internal organisation within the GDI which specialises in spreading the influence of the GDI and working in an offensive role. Working closely with ZOCOM, Zone Operations Command, they represent one of the most well trained and effective organisations of the combined GDI branches.
