Giants: BETA - Breaking the Meta

A new Beta branch has been released

We thought it could be fun to try and break the current set meta of Shield + Rockets & Sniper. Mainly to open up more different playstyles than the tried and tested methods.

- Jetpack upgrade allows recharging nitro mid-air and has better air control.
- Buff repair gun: heals 2x better.
- Bush increase move speed.
- Cloak spell: added a cooldown after uncloak.
- Follow spell spawn only 1 head instead of 2 (+1 to "stun" the enemy).
- Hail spell projectiles fall faster.
- RPG: make projectiles faster and increase explosion radius.
- Flares can deflect more than 1 missile.
- Make kabuto easier to target with homing bow.

More changes may be added in the future!

If you want to test this with us, make sure you make a copy of your game folder! Do not use this patch on the main installation of the game. Do not use the Release/Beta setting in your game launcher!.

137 was skipped over because of the dx9.dll issues.
Open your game launcher to automatically update. If it doesn't, check your Options to see if you have automatic updating enabled!

Fixed an issue with dx9r.dll for some windows 10 & 11 users.

Also includes the fixes supposed to be in 137.

Fixed the long standing Kabuto hitbox bug in Single player.
Fixed a bug in dedicated.exe where some reaper items couldn't be disabled.
Fixed a bug where meccs minishops could give less ammo than expected when clicking a weapon.
