Clan Rules

The following paragraphs are the clan rules as set forth on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 by the disciplinary committee. The disciplinary committee is comprised of Clan Officers and Clan Elites. Server Admins may be asked to participate if needed.

1. NO spamming the steam groups comments, on either the main page or subsequent pages.
2. NO spamming in-game chat, trade requests or in-game voice chat.
3. NO advertising for another clan and/or server via in-game text or voice chat or via Steam chat.
4. Swearing is tolerated, but please don’t over do it. Clan Officers reserve the right to make decisions on what is appropriate.
5. If a member is found to be “bad mouthing” the clan or any of its officers, they will be immediately put on suspension.


I. Terms of Violation

1. If any of the above rules are not upheld by any one clan member, the respective party will be put on probation.
2. If a clan officer, clan elite, or server admin is found to be in violation of one of the above rules they will be put on suspension immediately and further punishment may be put forth by other clan officers. Once a clan officer is suspended, a temporary replacement may be assigned from the pool of elites.
3. THREE STRIKES RULE: Every member gets three strikes. Each strike can be appealed. After ALL strikes have been served and ALL appeals have been exhausted the member will be up for review and may possibly be allowed to play but will be on probation.


II. Terms of Probation

While on probation a member must follow the normal clan rules and also abide by the following:

1. A member who is on probation cannot participate in any special clan events.
2. A member who is on probation is not eligible for “GFD Player of The Month” or “GFD Player of The Week”.
3. A member who is on probation may be blocked from playing their TOP CLASS.*

III. Terms of Suspension

A clan member is put on suspension, they will be temporarily banned from ALL GFD-Oogle Tech Gaming servers for the time set forth by the officer of jurisdiction. The minimum sentence for suspension is 2 weeks. The sentence can be extended by the disciplinary committee. While on suspension a player must follow the normal clan rules. After a member returns from suspension, they will be on probation for one week (this time may be altered by the disciplinary committee).

* A player’s TOP CLASS(ES) will be determined via the “Teams & Actions” stats recorded by HLStatsXCE as the classes a player gets the most kills with.
