Am i the only one who feels like Valve is killing tf2?

I really love tf2 and i want to see it grow bigger and better. And with the competition with Overwatch i thought Valve would focus their attention towards making tf2 great and bring us something so unique that we've never seen before! What do we get? Heavy VS Pyro! Awesome Love that! (Seriously i love it)
And.....A broken casual matchmaking system and competetive.......
I think Valve needs to open their eyes before its to late otherwise tf2 might die slowly.. And i don't want that..
