It's GDN! GD freaking N!

It happened. That one single day when the server got too populated. It was a horrific event that both teams experienced. Although it was a tough event against two classes, it was an undecided victory, which means neither team won. Even if that is so, I still believe this had to be documented. So, here it is.

It all started at November 21, 2014. At this time, there were around 15 to 20 people on the server. It seemed like another great and friendly time in the GDN server, with many, many people to spread joy to. Then... It happened.

It took only a few rockets, and about three to five kills, to plunge both the RED and BLU team into chaos. Because the BLU team, which was the team I was on, had around four heavies, I had to be a medic, to prevent the REDs from doing much harm. It unfortunately caused the deaths of many veteran heavies, including Gavino Costly, The New Shmoo, and a few others. It also forced some players to switch into other classes, to prevent any quick deaths. It was horrific. The killfeed overflowed with deaths. Grenades, rockets, bullets, and even jarate covered the air with the putrid odor of war. In the end, thankfully, the BLU and RED team forgave each other and the server went back to the mostly friendly GDN server we all know and love. But, nothing will prevent me from thinking of all the lives lost during this war. I hope we don't have anything like this again, and if we do, we'll have to be more prepared, even if it involves sacrifice...
